Tara Nava Promoted to Branch Manager & Loan Officer at Lexington Branch

First Metro Bank and its Board of Directors are proud to announce the promotion of long-time bank employee Tara Nava. Tara, a Lexington, Alabama native, has served customers of the hometown bank since 2012. Her exemplary work ethic and commitment to First Metro Bank led to her being promoted to Branch Manager and Loan Officer at the Lexington Branch, as well as being named a bank officer as an assistant cashier. 

Tara started her banking career as a teller and lending assistant at the community financial institution’s Lexington office nearly ten years ago.  At this time, she also trained to serve as customer service representative (CSR) backup and remained dedicated to her multiple roles and responsibilities until June 2021. She was then promoted to CSR while continuing her lending assistant duties.Over the next eighteen months, Tara’s leadership, dedication, and willingness to go above and beyond for customers proved her to be more than capable of taking on the role of Branch Manager and Loan Officer.

Over the many years of Tara’s tenure at the Lexington office, she has built strong relationships while cultivating loyalty and trust with Bank customers, something that is very important within the small, tight-knit community.
