Desktop Banking
First Metro Bank’s Desktop Banking is a “remote capture” system that allows you to deposit your checks from your business without ever having to visit the bank! A small scanner will convert every check into electronic format so that the deposit can be sent via your PC. An image of each check will be displayed on your PC. Once you’ve inspected each check, your work is done because the software totals the deposit and creates the deposit ticket for you! Your deposit will be transferred to First Metro Bank via an encrypted Internet connection. If you send your deposit before 5:00 p.m., funds will be credited to your account the same business day. If the deposit is sent after 5:00 p.m., funds will be credited the next business day.
